Go to rostergiving.com/churches and join the waitlist. You'll need your church's EIN and bank account details. Full setup takes under 60 minutes.
No. Roster works alongside Pushpay, Tithe.ly, Planning Center, and any other platform. You add a “Give via Paycheck” button — everyone else continues as normal.
ACH to your existing bank account. You choose: weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly. Labeled ROSTER GIVING [CHURCH NAME].
Yes. Your first month is free — no cost, no minimum volume, no contract.
Settings → Account → Close Account. No cancellation fee. Members get instructions to update their payroll.
No. Your employer sees a direct deposit to a checking account — same as a savings account. They don't know where it goes.
Yes. Remove the split deposit in your payroll portal. Takes effect next paycheck. No notice required.
Your Roster account stays active. Set up a new split with your new employer using the same routing/account number.
Most US employers do (ADP, Workday, Gusto, Paychex, Rippling, Paylocity). Contact HR or email support@rostergiving.com.
Your FBO account is at an FDIC-insured banking partner, independent of Roster. Funds returned to you directly.
Yes. Charitable donations under IRC Section 170. Same year-end acknowledgment. No new forms.
Standard ACH income. Record as "Paycheck Giving" or consolidate. Treatment identical to any other ACH contribution.
Roster is not a custodian of church funds. Flow: member paycheck → member FBO → church. No receivable, no liability.
Yes. Held at FDIC-insured banking partners. Protected up to $250,000 per depositor.
