For small churches

One more way for your members to give. Nothing new for you to run.

One more button on your giving page. Members who want to give a percentage can. Nothing changes for everyone else.

It looks like part of your site.

The button goes next to the ways to give you already offer, in your colors and with your church's name on it. Adjust the wording, the shape and the color until it fits. The rest of the page stays as it is.

Who it's for, at your size.

In a church of two hundred, this might be eight families: the ones who already give faithfully and would rather give a percentage than a number they picked once.

Eight is a good outcome. Those are eight gifts that arrive whether or not anyone remembered, and whether or not it snowed on Sunday.

Nothing new to run.

No new system to check on afterwards. The option is on the page, and the gifts arrive.

  • One person, one afternoon. Nothing to migrate, nobody to train.
  • Gifts arrive by ACH at the same bank account as everything else.
  • Gifts are recorded in your church software, or listed in your Roster dashboard.
  • The dashboard doesn't send you a notification for every gift.

You don't have to write anything.

The announcement, the bulletin insert and the email to the congregation are already written, with your church's name in them. Read them once and send.

Subject: A new way to give at Grace Community

Dear Grace Community family,

Starting this month, our giving page has one more option: you can give a percentage of every paycheck, set once. It arrives on payday, without a card to update or a date to remember. Everything else stays exactly as it is…

Give from your paycheck

A new option on our giving page. Choose a percentage, once, and your gift arrives every payday. Your employer sees a deposit to an account held for you, nothing more.

From the pulpit

“One quick note before we close. Our giving page now has a paycheck option. If you've ever wanted to give a percentage instead of a number, it takes about a minute, and it happens on its own after that. It's on the same page as always.”

What it costs, at your size.

2% of what comes through Roster, taken out of each gift before it lands. No monthly fee, no setup cost, no minimum, and nothing to cancel if it doesn't catch on.

Example

Given through Roster

$4,000

Roster's fee

$80

Lands in your account

$3,920

Your members always give 100% of what they chose. The fee comes out of each gift before it lands, so there's never an invoice.

  • Your church's EIN, the bank account where gifts should land, at least six months in operation, and someone who can add one line, or a link, to your giving page.

  • Then a few gifts arrive on payday, every payday, without anyone remembering. There's no minimum, no monthly fee and nothing to cancel if it doesn't catch on.

  • No. Members pause or stop their own gift with the link we text them, and the money lands in your bank account by ACH on its own. Your bookkeeping sees an incoming transfer, the same as today.
