Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Roster Giving platform and website (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use this Service. The Company reserves the right to make changes to this agreement at any time by updating this page.

Service Description

Roster Giving provides a platform for churches to automate paycheck giving programs, including:

• Member enrollment and payroll deduction setup
• Payroll deduction processing and integration
• Donation tracking and reporting
• Member communication tools

User Obligations

As a user of the Service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information in your account
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws
• Not violate the privacy rights of others or share personal data improperly
• Not use the Service to interfere with, disrupt, or overload the platform or its servers
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service

Payment Terms

Pricing: Roster charges 2% of the volume processed through the platform. No monthly fees, no setup costs.

Billing: Fees are calculated and billed monthly based on donations processed. Invoices are due within 30 days of issuance.

You are responsible for providing valid payment information and for all charges incurred by your account.

Cancellation and Termination

Cancellation by Customer: You may cancel your account at any time with 30 days' written notice. You will be responsible for all fees through the date of cancellation.

Termination by Company: We may terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay charges, or use the Service in a manner that violates applicable laws.

Data Deletion: Upon cancellation or termination, we will provide you with a data export within 30 days. After that period, we reserve the right to delete your data from our active systems.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Roster Giving and is protected by United States and international intellectual property laws.

License Grant: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal purposes, subject to compliance with these Terms.

Your Data: You retain ownership of all data you upload or input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use your data to provide and improve the Service.

Limitation of Liability

DISCLAIMER: THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. COMPANY MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

LIMITATION: IN NO EVENT SHALL COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

CAP: THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF COMPANY FOR ANY CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO COMPANY IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Roster Giving, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

Confidentiality

Each party agrees to maintain the confidentiality of the other party's confidential information. Member data, including giving records, is treated as strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties except as required for service delivery or legal compliance.

Modifications to Terms

Roster Giving reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or by posting an updated version on our website. Your continued use of the Service following such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in San Francisco, California.
