Limit the use of my sensitive personal information

For California residents, under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA.

What we treat as sensitive

When you set up a paycheck gift, you choose the church that receives it. That choice may reveal, or be used to infer, your religious beliefs. Under California law that is sensitive personal information, and you have the right to limit how we use it (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.121).

What we already limit by default

We use your church selection for one purpose: directing your gift to the church you chose, and reporting it to that church so your giving statement is complete. We do not sell it, and we do not use or disclose it for advertising, profiling or any purpose you didn't ask for. Our use is already limited to what is necessary to perform the service you requested.

How to submit a request

Email us from the address you used with Roster, or tell us the mobile number you enrolled with, so we can find your record. We will never ask for a password or your payroll credentials.

What happens next

Because we already use your church selection only for the purpose you asked for, a request does not change how your gift works. We act on every request and reply to you within 15 business days. If you would rather stop giving through Roster altogether, use the self-service link we texted you.
